I've heard a lot of parents tell their children, "Use your words!" These have always been much older children, 2 or 3 at the earliest. Lately I've been finding myself asking Griffin to use his words because the truth is, he knows a lot. I sign some words as I say them, but he shows little interest in signing and a lot of interest in repeating and mimicking.
